Child Safety Standards
BeeBaby (operated by BeeBaby HK Limited) is an adults-only (18+) service. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards describe how we prohibit, prevent, detect, and respond to CSAE on BeeBaby, and how anyone can report it to us. They apply to all users and all content on the Service.
1. Adults-only service & age verification
BeeBaby is intended only for people who are at least 18 years old (or older where the local age of majority is higher). We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to create an account or use the Service. To enforce this, every new account must pass a liveness and age check performed with Amazon Web Services (AWS) Rekognition Face Liveness; if the check estimates the person is under 18, the account is refused. We also display an 18+ age gate and act on any report or signal that an underage person is using the Service.
2. Prohibited content & conduct
The following are strictly prohibited on BeeBaby and will result in content removal, account termination, and reporting to the authorities where required:
- Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any sexual content involving, or appearing to involve, a minor — including real, generated, AI-generated, animated, or computer-generated imagery.
- Sexualization of minors in any form, and sexual conversations directed at or depicting minors.
- Grooming, enticement, solicitation, or sextortion of a minor, or any attempt to contact, meet, or obtain sexual content from a minor.
- Trafficking of, or facilitating harm to, a child.
- Use of the Service by anyone under 18, or creating an account on behalf of a minor.
3. How to report CSAE
Anyone can report suspected CSAE or an underage user, and we encourage you to do so immediately:
- In the app — open the person's profile, tap Report or block, and choose “Underage” or “Sexual content” (free text can be added under “Other”). You can also block the person to stop all contact.
- By email — contact our child-safety point of contact at support[AT]beebaby.ai with the details (and a username or link if you have one).
If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services or law enforcement first.
4. How we respond
We review CSAE reports as a priority. When we confirm a violation we:
- Remove the offending content and terminate the responsible account, and take action against linked accounts;
- Preserve the relevant evidence as required by law; and
- Report apparent CSAM and child exploitation to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or the appropriate authorities or hotlines in the relevant jurisdiction, as required by applicable law.
Our automated safety systems and human review also screen messages and content for prohibited material across both AI-generated and human messages, and we act on what they surface.
5. Compliance with the law
We comply with applicable child-safety laws in the regions where we operate, including reporting obligations for CSAM (such as 18 U.S.C. § 2258A in the United States) and applicable obligations in the EU, the UK, and other jurisdictions. We keep these standards under review and update them as our Service and the law evolve.
6. Child-safety point of contact
Questions about these standards, or to escalate a child-safety concern, can be sent to our designated point of contact at support[AT]beebaby.ai.
